The Indigenous Tourism Champions Program (ITCP) works with Indigenous Business Australia, with the support of the State Tourism Organisations, to assist export-ready Indigenous Tourism businesses to meet the needs of Inbound Tour Operators and the international market via a cohesive and collaborative national program.
This will enable Tourism Australia to confidently market the ‘Champions’ to increase awareness and improve perceptions of the quality and diversity of Indigenous tourism experiences on offer in Australia. The ITCP aims to demonstrate that small business operators and Indigenous tourism operators in particular, are reliable business partners with strong industry knowledge who can make a valuable contribution to their wholesale and inbound programs.
